CS-2040C is a petroleum based protective wax which will shield stressed vulcanized rubber products from the degradation (cracking) associated with exposure to atmospheric ozone. It blooms moderately through a wide range of temperatures providing year-around product exposure protection under average climatic conditions. As an anti-ozone wax, CS-2040C has application use in styrene-butadiene, neoprene, natural, butyl and nitrite rubbers.
