MOUNT LAUREL, NJ (November 7, 2013) – PMC Group N.A., Inc. (“PMC”) has marked the official opening of its new Center for Vinyl Innovation (CVI). PMC’s Center for Vinyl Innovation is a research and technical center in Lansdale, Pennsylvania (greater Philadelphia) dedicated to developing responsible and cost-effective vinyl additive chemistry, and supporting the global PVC and CPVC processing industry.
The CVI is fully staffed and equipped with analytical and laboratory equipment for testing, research and new additive product development. PMC Group’s Vinyl Additives team works to optimize formulations and resolve processing problems for each customer’s specific requirements – in rigid and cellular PVC extrusion, compounding, injection molding and calendering processes.
PMC’s Vinyl Additives team leverages the technologies and expertise across multiple business units to provide the vinyl industry with a broad range industry-leading products and technical services drawing from multiple technology platforms, including organometallics, renewable oleochemicals, waxes and lubricants to drive innovation for current and next-generation needs of the global PVC industry.
